TESOL Weekend Certificate Course
The ATC Weekend Foundation TESOL Certificate course is designed to give you the tools to walk into a classroom with confidence. You will be able to step into a classroom with clear, planned goals and methods to achieve those goals.
Explore ways to maximize the resources in your class – including use of the board, seating options and being creative when you have no materials or resources at hand.
Practice various teaching methods and will then be given a chance to apply your experience.
Learn to assess your students in terms of their motivation, interests and previous language learning experiences.
Develop strategies to teach the four language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in a dynamic and student centered way.
With this information, you will be able to design and deliver interesting, meaningful and effective lesson plans with ease and confidence!
Program Cost
The Weekend TESOL Program fee is $450 inclusive CAD, which includes tuition, refreshments and some great ESL material, including the Phonic Ball which aids in English learning by allowing students to use and practice phonics and vocabulary.
